Work Following Tests

A quotation for any remedial works (if required) to bring the installation up to BS 7671 wiring regulation standards will also be issued with the report.

Satisfactory Report

Once any required work has been completed by ourselves, we will issue a satisfactory Electrical Installation Certificate for your compliance.

Commercial Electrical Testing

Commercial electrical testing is required on commercial buildings for safety and efficiency, after a few years the usage on commercial buildings can be hard wearing on electrical installations and can cause damage and deterioration much quicker than in domestic buildings due to demand.

With more electrical appliances being used in offices, warehouses and other commercial properties it is more important than ever to make sure your electrical installation is meeting the current BS standard regulations. Additional electrical appliances, computers and even microwaves and kettles can put a strain on your electrics when used daily. This can add risk of deterioration of wires and cause loose wiring which can lead to electrical shocks and even electrical fires.

Types of commercial testing including BS7671 Electrical Completion Certificates, Minor Works Certificates and  Electrical Installation Condition Reports although depending on your building and the usage we can advise you on the best commercial tests. Commercial tests have to be carried out by a trained electrician who has experience in this type of electrical testing and qualified to a City & Guilds 2391 Standard. If the person conducting the test is not qualified then the test will not be valid.

Con-Tec Solutions will arrange a convenient schedule to do the testing, as all electrical circuits may need to be switched off, we will try to carry out the tests with as little disruption to your business as possible. Once the test has proven everything to be safe and compliant then you can be safe that your building is not at risk and your insurance will be valid we will provide you with a full report on completion and a quotation of any remedial works if required.

5 Year Electrical Installation Condition Reports

Con-Tec Solutions specialise in 5 year commercial testing to comply to BS7671 IEE wiring regulations. We are available to come to your premises and advise the number of circuits to be tested and then provide you with a free quotation for the test and inspection.

A full check of the fix wiring will be carried out (contact us to find out more). Following the test, the engineer will submit the report to our office for approval. A copy of the report can be emailed as a PDF file for your urgent attention and convenience and the hardcopy will be sent out in the post, along with the invoice and a quotation of any works required to bring the installation up to current regulations, this will also be listed on page 2 of the report with a coding of urgency for your safety.
